Promoting and supporting evidence-informed practice in higher education teaching and learning

We know that you want to assess the available evidence.

In this section you can search and browse through evidence spanning a number of key themes in learning and teaching.  These resources are taken from a wide range of sources including peer reviewed education journals and go beyond resources generated by the Higher Education Academy.

You might not always have time to read everything that interests you, so the EvidenceNet team is producing and commissioning summaries and syntheses of research so that you can always keep up to date with new research or policy documents, get a quick overview of key or seminal articles, and make sure you don't miss out on any high profile work.

As well as summaries and syntheses you can also find journal articles, case studies and project reports. We have categorised resources by:

  • Discipline including Biosciences, English and Psychology
  • Key learning and teaching theme such as assessment and feedback, and Personal Development Planning
  • Resource Type including journal article, case study and research synthesis

You can browse the resources by the categories above, or tailor your search by multi-selecting from within different categories to return the results that are relevant to you.
