Location

The University of Manchester is located close to both Piccadilly main line station (about two and a half hours from London) and Oxford Road train station. The Universitycampus is a ten to fifteen minute walk from Oxford Road station.

There are a number frequent buses running from Piccadilly station to Oxford Road. A taxi from Piccadilly Station to the Oxford Road area of the campus will cost you about £5.

Car parking

We would advise delegates where possible to leave their cars at their hotels. The nearest car park is on Booth Street West, a 3 minute walk from University Place.  The following charges apply:
0-3 hrs - £3.00
3-6hrs - £5.00
6-10hrs - £8.00
10 -24hrs - £10.00
4pm - midnight - £2.00

Accommodation

Student accommodation is available at George Kenyon Hall, University of Manchester. Please note spaces are limited and are available on a first come first serve basis.

Each bedroom has en-suite facilities and is part of a five bedroom single sex flat. Each flat has communal kitchen facilities should you choose to make use of them. Breakfast will be provided in the restaurant adjacent to the exhibition hall.

Bedding and towels are provided but there will be no toiletries or hairdryers. There is also no internet access available in these bedrooms.

The check in desk is staffed between 08:00-21:00. Check in is from 14:00 and check out is by 10:00.
