The BMAF Network serves to help all discipline groups and staff in this field to provide the best possible learning experience for students undertaking higher education

If you are involved in employability and related issues in higher education; and interested in the development of educational communities using Web 2.0 / social media for resource sharing and communication, you are cordinally invited o the launch event of the Scottish HE employability project SHEEN Sharing.
Funded by the SFC and led by the University of Strathclyde and Sarah Currier Consultancy, SHEEN Sharing has worked with the Scottish Employability Coordinators' Network (ECN) to build a dynamic Web resource for discovery and dissemination of high quality employability materials.
Using a range of free Web 2.0 and social media tools, the ECN can now provide ongoing access to the resources they use and recommend via a newsfeed-based Netvibes site.
In getting to this point over the past year, the Scottish Employability Coordinators also used Web tools to develop as a community of practice, and to support and inspire individual Coordinators in their own work within their universities.
This event will provide insight into the potentials and pitfalls of this approach, including first-hand accounts from Employability Coordinators about how the project has enhanced their personal and professional development.
