Changing Academic Practice: Initial and Continuing Development of Academic Staff in Business Disciplines

An Event for New Staff: a Workshop, jointly run with the Preparing for Academic Practice CETL , Oxford University. "

An event aimed mainly at all staff new to academic practice in business disciplines, and at those considering an academic career following either doctoral studies or professional practise.

This is an opportunity to consider the nature of 'academic practice', also to identify those aspects of new staff development which may benefit from support that is discipline-specific to subject areas within business and management schools.

Please pass these details on to relevant staff who may be interested. Numbers are limited so they should email Richard Atfield at ratfield@brookes.ac.uk, indicating their context (doc, post-doc, new, associate, experienced), subject area and contact details.

Places will be confirmed shortly and, if there is sufficient interest, we intend to organise another event sometime in the new year.
