Description

This workshop, hosted by the University of Plymouth Business School, aims to generate discussion and debate on how business academics can use simulation games and role-play (SGRP) methods for teaching and learning.

The objectives are to:

  • present short illustrations of both computerised and non-computerised games;
  • establish the extent to which SGRP’s can contribute to achievement of intended learning outcomes; and
  •  stimulate discussion of the practical implications of teaching with SGRP’s, particularly how to overcome the barriers to using such learning platforms.
