A workshop for doctoral students, postdocs and academics.

Aim: 

To bring together those recently appointed to an academic post in business education (or considering one) to explore and discuss the opportunities and challenges now and in the future.

Activities: 

• Share outcomes of the BMAF ‘New Lecturers’ project – The 21st Century Business Academic
• Discuss what Academic Practice means in the context of business disciplines and how it may develop in the future.
• Consider the changing contexts – research/teaching balance, diversity, student numbers – and the relevant initial and continuing development needs and expectations of participants.
