Business Ethics ~ Teaching and Practice: A National Conference

DATE: 11 Sep 2008
LOCATION/VENUE: IDEA CETL, University of Leeds

Description

This one-day event, which will have input from key speakers including BBC Radio 4’s Business Correspondent, Peter Day, provides a valuable opportunity for people with an interest in business ethics to share their knowledge and experience.

A one-day conference in Business Ethics hosted by the Inter-Disciplinary Ethics Applied CETL, the Business School at the University of Leeds and BMAF.

Business Ethics is rapidly expanding, both as an area of study, and as a fundamental concern for business professionals.

Graduates of business and related subjects are increasingly interested in the ethical reputations of prospective employers.

Employers expect universities to produce graduates who have a sophisticated understanding of business ethics, informed both by rigorous theory and the practical knowledge of how businesses really work.
