Description

This seminar is part of the evidence-based practice seminar series 2010 on assessment and feedback.

The aim of this seminar is to help share practice and discuss the evidence and potential value of tools and techniques in assessment and feedback. Discussions are anticipated to include examples of application of tools in both formative and summative assessment. Examples of practice are aimed to also address the context of both individual and group assessments (Rust 2001), with particular reference to issues related to cohort sizes and timely feedback. Some existing work in the area of assessment strategies will be used to help form basis of the discussions, e.g. REAP.
