Description

The session will develop from the presentation at Workshop 5 on The Impact of the Learning Environment on PM Learning and Teaching by Prof. Denise Bower, Leeds University, and aim to explore the issues and opportunities provided by the physical space provided for learning and teaching.

The workshop will investigate issues about how physical paces can support learning as well as providing an appropriate venue for teaching. The objectives are to understand the impact that different spaces for learning and teaching can have on project management education and to establish how good practice can be shared. By the end of the session participants will have gained a better understanding of and developed some ideas for:

  • Identifying opportunities for the enhancement of project management learning and teaching;
  • Sharing project management good practice with regard to learning spaces; and
  • Agreeing an action plan for future work.
