DATE: 22 Mar 2007
START TIME: 09:00 am
LOCATION/VENUE: Sheffield Hallam University

Description

Following on from ‘Work placements: adding value to education?’, BMAF invites you to the next event in the series of joint workshops on Employability, this time focusing on the international dimension.

It will provide an opportunity to examine some key issues surrounding employability, to facilitate the sharing of best practice within the HE sector for enhancing graduate level employability, and to explore approaches to embedding employability skills development in the curriculum. The workshops are run by two projects (E-EVOLVE and ENHANCING GRADUATE EMPLOYABILITY), funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) under phase 5 of the Fund for the Development of Teaching and Learning (FDTL 5) and are supported by the HLST and BMAF Subject Centres. Both projects have a shared focus aiming to enhance graduate level employability through curriculum interventions. There is no charge for this event but places are limited. If you would like to register your interest in the workshop, please email us with your name, institution and telephone number. Booking forms will be sent out nearer the date.
