HEA/JISC OER Funding Phase 3: Embedding and Sustaining Change

Date: 2-August-2011 

The HE Academy and JISC are inviting institutions to submit funding proposals as part of its Open Educational Resources grant funding phase 3.

Funding is available under four strands:

  • Strand 1: PG Cert Development - 12 projects, total available: up to £0.45m
  • Strand 2: Open materials for accredited courses (OMAC) - 15 projects, at a maximum of £20,000, total available: up to £0.3m
  • Strand 3: Embedding OER practice in institutions - 12 projects, total available: up to £0.45m
  • Strand 4: OER Themes - Projects from £40,000 to £200,000, total available: up to £1.6m

JISC is holding an online community briefing event where those interested will be given information about the background to the call, its objectives and the funding process. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions of JISC executive staff. The online meeting will take place as follows:
