This was a project which ran from November 2007 until July 2008, and was funded by the Higher Education Academy's Business, Management, Accountancy and Finance Subject Centre.
The focus of the project was on gaining an understanding of best practices when developing and delivering e-learning strategies within UK Business Schools (or Management Departments etc.), and then disseminating those best practices throughout the UK.
A summary of the objectives is as follows:
1. To identify a target group of Business Schools which exemplify best practices in developing effective approaches to e-learning within the UK.
2. To develop a comprehensive report on best practices and how these may be implemented within UK Business Schools - particularly those with less experience of e-learning than the target group.
3. To provide a forum for the cross-fertilisation of ideas between the "best practice" target group, so that they may improve their performance.
4. To provide up to four UK-wide workshops to disseminate the findings and to provide practical guidance on the implementation of best practices within other Business Schools.
