  • BMAF / BAA / CHA Accounting Education Special Interest Group
    The aim of the Accounting Education SIG, which was established in 1991, is to enhance the educational base of accounting practice. This embraces a concern for better teaching and learning involving a range of areas including: the introduction of innovative, pedagogic ideas; curriculum development; better assessment; improving links with accounting bodies; and greater awareness of best practice and new developments.
  • NTFS Project for Introductory Accounting
    Funded by the Institute for Learning and Teaching: HEFCE National Teaching Fellowship Scheme between 2001-04, the project aimed to support the identification and development of more effective teaching and learning strategies within the introductory accounting (IA) curriculum through the creation of a shared community of experience and based on a more informed understanding of how students experience the curriculum and approach their learning.

    An online community for those working in accounting education, including jobs, journals, news, events and web links. 
  • Accounting Education: An International Journal
    This journal is published six times a year and is dedicated to publishing research-based papers and other information on key aspects of accounting education and training of relevance to practitioners, academics, trainers, students and professional bodies.
  • International Association for Accounting Education Research
    IAAER aims to promote excellence in accounting education and research on a worldwide basis and to maximize the contribution of accounting academics to the development and maintenance of high quality, globally recognized standards of accounting practice. It's website features information on journals, publications and research grants offered by IAAER.
