BMAF Resources:

• BMAF Employability Special Interest Group 
  The SIG is a funded BMAF project that focuses on improving the employability of and vocational opportunities for BMAF students.
• Employability Case Studies 
  Ten examples of good practice in using partnerships with employers to create courses, or, in embedding employability and making it explicit within the learning experience.
• Employability Profiles for Business, Management, Accountancy and Finance 
  The Council for Industry and Higher Education (CIHE) and the Higher Education Academy launched a series of Student Employability Profiles in 2006 for all degree programmes, aimed to help academic staff, employers and students to understand better the skills developed through the study of a particular subject.
• Expectations and Experiences of Postgraduates' Employability Skills: Employers' Perspectives: A development project 
  A TRDG-funded project to investigate the views of employers of postgraduates and diplomats on the nature, value and impact of employability skills in their workplace.

• Aiming University Learning @ Work 
  A three year project which aimed to create a strategic shift within higher education institutions towards work related learning as a means of enhancing students' long term employability.
• ASET - Integrating Work and Learning 
  ASET is the professional body and membership organisation for placement and employability staff.
• Bridges: Fostering Personal Development and Employability (CETL) 
  During the five years of its existence Bridges focused on Personal Development Planning (PDP) and employability and recognised the quality of the University of Bedfordshire's provision, its concern for student development and the relevance of its curriculum.
• Bridging the Gap - Briefing Papers from the OU on Graduate Employability 
  55 projects funded by the DfEE Innovations Fund between 1998 and 2000.
• CCMS: Centre for Career Management Skills (CETL) 
  CCMS was a funded research and development centre at the University of Reading, established as part of the HEFCE-funded initiative in 2005. It's website contains online resources, details of projects and research carried out during the CETLs existence.
• E-Evolve: Enhancing Employability and Vocational Opportunity by Learning in Virtual Environments (FDTL) 
  This project sought to ensure excellence in the development of knowledgeable, capable and employable graduates by developing a distinctive curriculum with reference to professional practice.
• Enhancing Graduate Employability Embedding Employability Skills Development in the Curriculum (FDTL) 
  This project investigated how employability skills of hospitality, leisure, sport and tourism (HLST) students can be enhanced via curriculum interventions.
• E3i CETL: Embedding, Enhancing and Integrating Employability 
  During its existence this CETL developed an employability framework, created an employability audit instrument for course planners, collaborated with the Careers Services to create a range of resources, supported a range of projects and case studies as exemplars of how employability can be integrated in various approaches and undertook research into employability.
• Employability Outcomes from the Scottish Enhancement Themes 
  A series of publications, guides, case studies and briefing papers covering best practice in employability.
• HE Academy Employability and Enterprise Page 
  The HEAs employability programme focuses on enhancing the academic, personal and professional development of learners to meet the changing needs of employers, the economy and society.  
• HEFCE - Employer Engagement 
  HEFCE's workforce development programme has two goals - the design and delivery of HE courses in partnership with employers, and to increase the number of learners in the workplace supported by their employers.
• Practice-based Professional Learning (CETL) 
  During it's existence the PbPL CETL funded 92 exploratory projects on issues including the construction of professional identities, perceptions of professional practice, the impact of course study on professional practice, the roles required for the support of learning in both the workplace and study setting and the role of technology & e-learning.
