Description

Examples of good practice in using partnerships with employers to create courses, or, in embedding employability and making it explicit within the learning experience.

The employability case studies on this page are 10 of 20 that were jointly commissioned by the Business, Management, Accountancy and Finance Subject Centre (BMAF)and the Hospitality, Leisure Sport and Tourism Network (HLST). They show examples of good practice in using partnerships with employers to create courses, or in embedding employability and making it explicit within the learning experience. The case studies were turned into a book entitled "Enhancing Graduate Employability in Business and Management, Hospitality, Leisure, Sport, Tourism", edited by Nina Becket and Patsy Kemp, published 2006 by Threshold Press, Newbury.
