Accelerating Change in Built Environment Education (ACBEE) is an initiative to encourage the built environment industry, universities and professional bodies to work together to improve dialogue and provide more relevant training and education for the future in order to attract, recruit and retain sufficient graduates. ACBEE has developed from the CITB's 'Making Connections' initiative and is actively supported by the CITB, Constructing Excellence, the Construction Industry Council, CEBE and the Engineering Subject Centre.
A range of successful example case studies have been compiled which demonstrate how industry and education are actively collaborating to deliver the type of advanced higher education courses that are needed for the future.
