Alastair is responsible for overseeing all Higher Education Academy work in Scotland.
In his role as the HE Academy National Co-ordinator for Scotland, Alastair is the principal conduit for all aspects of HEA work in Scotland. He also has a UK-wide role for managing the HEA’s work on policy development. His background is as a scientific researcher before joining QAA Scotland in 2003 and co-managing support for the QAA Enhancement Themes. Alastair joined the HEA in 2005 as Senior Advisor for Scotland.
