Michael Bromby is seconded to the Higher Education Academy from Glasgow Caledonian University where he is a Reader in Law in the Glasgow School for Business and Society. He was a research fellow with the Joseph Bell Centre for Forensic Statistics and Legal Reasoning, and has taught on a variety of law, criminology, psychology, forensic science and forensic computing courses. He is a member of the British and Irish Law, Education and Technology Association (BILETA) executive committee and the Commonwealth Legal Education Association CLEA) executive committee. Michael is also a member of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS) and the Association of Law Teachers (ALT). He has worked with the Law Subject Centre (UKCLE) and sits on a number of the Law Society of Scotland's Regulatory Sub-Committees. Michael was awarded the Principal's Award for Learning and Teaching at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2011.
