PDP: reflecting on the past year and supporting future institutional and sector priorities, Glasgow Caledonian University
- Date: 13 Jun 2008
- Location/venue: Glasgow Caladonian University
This was the fourth meeting of the CRA-QAA-Academy PDP Forum.
The event, held at Glasgow Caledonian University on 13 June, included discussion of priority areas and possible activities for 2008-9, and a session led by Kirsty Miller and Jonathan Weyers, University of Dundee, on enhancing PDP activities in institutions through effective strategy policy and practice.
Available to download below are resources and presentations from the day as well as a brief meeting note. Further materials and information from Kirsty and Jonathan's session are available to download at http://www.enhancementthemes.ac.uk/ELF/PDP_message.asp.
We would also like to request your input using the document e-Assessment Proforma, below. Following feedback from the PDP forum we are circulating a short proforma which will allow - and hopefully encourage - Scottish colleagues to contribute to a 'landscape scan' on the current use of e-portfolios in e-assessment. Please complete this yourself if you have examples to share, or forward it to colleagues who may be able to do the same. Please also note that this does not have to be 'good practice'; we are interested in all practice, including practice which you might see as problematic or which has been difficult (this is often where the learning really lies!).
If you have practice to share, please return completed proformas, which should take no more than five minutes to complete, to Rob Ward (rob@recordingachievement.org) at CRA by the end of June. Many thanks in advance.
