Annual Learning & Teaching Symposium 2010 The 21st Century Learner: Challenges and Opportunities

 The aims of the Symposium are to showcase effective and inspirational practice, explore some of the learning and teaching challenges we face as learner expectations change, provide an opportunity for staff to discuss related topics such as supporting international studentsand diversity in the classroom and enable the sharing of expertise and good practice. Professor Philip Winn, Chair of the Graduates for the 21st Century Enhancement Theme will deliver the first keynote and project facilitators for two of the Quality Enhancement Themes (Responding to Student Needs and Employability) will present the work they have been doing with the sector. The Symposium will end with a Panel Session to debate how we combine Employability and Intellectuality in the 21st Century Curriculum.
