Higher Education Surveys for Enhancement Conference 2010

The Higher Education Academy is hosting a one-day Survey Conference on 18 May 2010 at the National College for School Leadership, Nottingham.
This conference brings together findings from three major student experience surveys:
- The National Student Survey (NSS).
- The Academy’s Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES).
- The Academy’s Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)
This conference will explore the implications for enhancement of learning and teaching policy and practice.
Through institutional and discipline-based case study presentations, workshops and discussion the conference will provide opportunities for disseminating sector research, discussing the current review of the NSS, and promoting evidence-informed practices on the use of:the surveys.
The event will bring together a broad range of people interested in using student experience data to enhance policy and practice, including senior management with strategic learning & teaching roles, educational developers and lecturers at the chalk face.

Colleagues within HEIs in Scotland can apply for a bursary through the Academy Scotland Travel Fund to help them attend this conference.
