The Scottish Higher Education Employability Forum (SHEEF) is pleased to announce the programme for a major two-day national conference on 1-2 June 2011 for higher education providers and employers which is being jointly organised by the Higher Education Academy, QAA Scotland and the Scottish Funding Council.  The overarching aims of the conference are both to highlight and celebrate the work that has been undertaken to date in strengthening the graduate employability agenda in Scottish higher education, but also to address where we go from here and the vital role which employers can play in enhancing graduate employability.

We now invite proposals for workshops, presentations and posters for the conference. To submit a presentation, poster or workshop please download the proposal guidelines and associated forms located below, and return to us by 21st April 2011.

The format and content of the conference has been designed to provide a variety of interactive sessions which will appeal to a wide range of stakeholders including: senior managers, employability practitioners, policy makers, employer representative agencies and their members, and students.  Sessions include: plenary talks from members of both the HE and business communities from Scotland, the rest of the UK and internationally; participatory workshops; poster and exhibition sessions; question and answer sessions with plenary speakers; and an interactive policy debate.

The main intended outcomes of the conference are:
