Enabling Staff Engagement in the Inclusive Curriculum

This one day workshop is being held as part of the Embedding Equality and Diversity in the Curriculum Programme workshop series. The workshop will provide a practical means of building internal capacity to engage all academic staff in the use of inclusive learning and teaching practices to improve the quality of the student experience.

This capacity-building workshop on the theme of enabling staff engagement in the inclusive curriculum will provide a practical means of building capacity to engage staff involved in learning and teaching in the use of inclusive learning and teaching practices to improve the quality of the student experience. The workshop will be based around a series of key discussion themes including: how do we build a culture of inclusion?; what's my role?; how can I adapt my current practice? the workshop will include interactive discussion sessions on how to close the gap between policy and practice and engagement with the inclusion agenda through assessment practice.
