Presenter

Neil Gordon has worked in across the STEM subjects, though his main teaching activity has been as in Computer Science and Mathematics. He is interested in EBL from a practitioners perspective, especially regarding the opportunities it offers to link research and teaching, something that has an increasing significance with the need to demonstrate the value of a university education rather than alternative routes. From his own experiences of EBL in teaching Neil has published and presented papers on EBL – including the Learning Through Enquiry conferences. Neil is a University Teaching Fellow at his own institution, where he is a lecturer in Computer Science and is the foundation year tutor for the Faculty of Science at Hull.
