This workshop will discuss the challenges of developing effective assessment and feedback strategies for non-traditional students studying on short courses and at Master’s level.
The workshop will provide delegates with opportunities to share their experiences in World Cafe style discussions. It will also share the outcomes of the Inclusive Assessment and Feedback Project, undertaken by the Creative Communities Unit (CCU) at Staffordshire University.
The project, funded by Staffordshire University’s Transformation in Assessment and Feedback initiative, takes a participatory approach to the development of assessment and feedback processes within the CCU Short Course and MA programmes in order to engage students more fully and to support students with additional needs.
