FORREST (FORensic RESearch and Teaching) is an annual academic conference.

The purpose of FORREST is to present the latest and most relevant work in forensic research and teaching. Reviews, case studies, applications, and research programmes are delivered by lectures and workshops that allow every delegate to find and explore something of interest and value to them.

The conference provides excellent opportunities for informal networking and sharing of ideas as evidenced by delegates.

The conference is:

“one of the most useful meetings I’ve attended ”

FORREST 2011 was held from 29th - 30th June at Nottingham Trent University. The conference proceedings and presentations are now available.

FORREST 2012 will be held at Abertay University, Dundee, in late June or early July. The UK Physical Sciences Centre officially closes in July 2011 so will not be involved in the organisation of future conferences. A conference committee will be set up to take over the organisation.
