Supporting Teaching and Learning in Archaeology and Classics: Graduate Teaching Assistants, Part-time Teachers and New Lecturers

We hold workshops twice yearly, in February and October, aimed at advising people who are new to lecturing. The workshops have a general teaching & learning focus as well as a more subject specific based element and are designed to compliment more generic training provided by universities.

All workshops are free of charge, lunch and refreshments are provided and travel grants are available. You can get further information about upcoming workshops either by emailing us at archea@liverpool.ac.uk or by checking our events page

Student Conference

This is an annual event. Themes covered include archaeological careers, routes into academia, writing grant applications, and advice on publishing. The Student Conference is usually held in late June.

Once again, the event is free of charge, lunch and refreshments are provided and travel grants are available. For more information please email Lyn Hughes at archea@liverpool.ac.uk
