Classics Events

Classics in the Subject Centre (CSC) organises, co-organises and supports training events, conferences and conference panels for classicists. This page displays events organised for classicists or of particular interest to them. All events provide opportunities to discuss Teaching and Learning issues and exchange ideas within a knowledgeable and supportive disciplinary-specific community or with those from other cognate subject areas. The dates and programmes of these workshops are publicised here, through the HCA e-bulletin and circulated to the Liverpool Classicists list.

For further details of the kinds of events CSC supports and organises, which include bi-annual events on language teaching and for GTAs, part-time and early career staff, as well as ad hoc intra-departmental events and non-language teaching events, please go to the Classics Events Organisation page. If you would like to suggest a topic for a future event, please contact the CSC Team.

All CSC events are mapped to the UK Professional Standards Framework (UK PSF) and all participants receive an attendance certificate reflecting this.
