Bibliography

The following short, annotated, bibliographies have been compiled by and for classicists. They cover a variety of topics ranging from the history of scholarship on classics teaching and issues for classics teaching to particular aspects of classics teaching and classics resources reviewed for teaching. The original LTSN Classics Bibliography previously published on the HCA website appears here with additions up to 2005.

The bibliographies provide a good idea of journals which publish classics-specific scholarship of teaching and learning (SOTL), but are not exhaustive. An additional useful source is the CUCD Bulletin - the Council of University Classics Departments' publication on areas of national importance for classics and its teaching.

Some more generic bibliographies appear in 'CSC Reccomends' (right) and these will be useful to classicsts seeking inspiration for various teaching activities, aiming for professional recognition or contributing to strategic planning.
