Innovations in Teaching

Innovation in teaching is something that goes on almost everywhere, but we don't always know about it.

CSC and the HCA Subject Centre are committed  to promoting and sharing innovation and good and practice in teaching and learning.

HCA Teaching Development Grants (TDGs) provide funding for teaching innovation, for materials, time buy-out and the buying in of expertise. CSC provides Small Grants for innovatory projects and techniques to receive funding. View examples of Classics projects>>

The CSC Innovations in Teaching Panel at the Classicial Association Conference 2007 also showcased innovative teaching undertaken in HEIs without Subject Centre funding.

If you are doing something innovatory, let us know and consider writing up a Case Study to share your good practice, and encourage others to develop similar approaches.
