Practical Advice for Teaching

Classics in the HCA Subject Centre (CSC) aims to share practical advice for teaching, informed by the scholarship of Teaching and Learning. You will find here both material that is subject-specific, and selected items from cognate disciplines that can help inform Classics teaching.

All reports on material created for HCA explain their pedagogical context, giving advice on their use in teaching.

Besides the resources on these pages, subject-specific advice can be found through the Networks that CSC supports in Ancient Language Teaching, Roman Art and Classical Reception Studies.

To share your own advice on good practice, consider publishing your work on this site, or get involved with CSC's activities.
