Supporting Teaching and Learning in Archaeology and Classics. Graduate Teaching Assistants, Part-time Teachers and New Lecturers

Our next one-day, free-of-charge event for GTAs as well as new and part-time lecturers in Archaeology and Classics will be on the 10th February 2010 at Kings Manor, University of York.
Themes that we plan to address on the day will include advice on small group teaching, dealing with problem students and presentation skills for lecturing amongst others.
Attendance, including lunch and refreshments, is free. If you would like to attend, please email Lyn Hughes at archea@liverpool.ac.uk, or Sarah Francis at classhea@liverpool.ac.uk giving your name, institution and dietary requirements. As usual, there will be some travel bursaries available.
