Classical Association Conference Report 2010

Date: 1-July-2010

Report from the Subject Centre panel at the Classical Association 2010 now available to download!

At the Classical Association 2010, held at the University of Cardiff, Classics in the Subject Centre hosted a panel focusing on sustainability entitled “Multa petentibus desunt multa: Classics and the challenge of sustainability” which asked whether we, as teachers of Classics, have an obligation to prepare our students for the 21st century environment which faces them after graduation? If so, how should we fulfil that obligation?
The discussion was led by Dr. Arran Stibbe (University of Gloucestershire) and Dr. Timothy Saunders (University of Tromsø).  A report of the panel, including a copy of Tim’s presentation, is available to download as PDF below.
