Description

Round 4 Teaching Development Grant

This report is based on the experiences gained at Birmingham in relation to the use of Access Grid technologies for the purposes of integrating teaching agendas.

The project sought to: investigate values and limitations to the technology; provide methodologies for use in seminar and formal lecture provision; demonstrate the practicalities for implementing harmonised curricula integrated across institutions and countries; create a set of guidelines and protocols to facilitate the learning experience. The report outlines the results and provides a series of observations and practical suggestions relating to the use of the Access Grid in Higher Education.
