JISC Tech Logo JISC TechDis

JISC TechDis is an advisory service giving assistance to practitioners who wish to ensure that their online learning resources are accessible and inclusive. As well as providing a Helpdesk, JISC TechDis also offers resources and publications, including Accessibility Essentials which cover many aspects of the production of accessible e-learning resources. The Staff Packs series also provides training materials, including editable powerpoints, which can be used at staff development workshops.

  JISC Legal logo JISCLegal

JISC Legal offers high quality legal information relating to the use of technology in teaching and learning. JISCLegal can be contacted to provide advice, and they run a number of training events and workshops. Publications and webcasts on the legal aspects of e-learning are available. The Law Watch section of the website also provides information on current legislation and cases.

JISC Digital Media Logo 

JISC Digital Media

JISC Digital Media, formerly TASI, provides advice on still images, moving images and sound to help the UK's FE and HE communities embrace and maximise the use of digital media. The website has advice on creation, use, management and copyright of digital media.

 Intute logo Intute (formerly HUMBUL)

Intute is a free online service providing access to web resources for education and research. The service is created by a network of UK universities and partners, with subject specialists selecting the websites and providing descriptions of the resources.

JISCPas (Internet Plagiarism Advisory Service)

JISCPas provides advice on the prevention and detection of plagiarism to institutions, academics and students. JISCPas can be contacted to provide advice and the website also offers resources such as briefing papers and a good practice guide.

JISC Regional Support Centres

The network of 13 JISC Regional Support Centres provides advice, support and training to practitioners in both FE and HE using technology in their teaching.
