Employability Profiles

The HE Academy has launched a series of Student Employability Profiles for all degree programmes.

Together with the Council for Industry and Higher Education (CIHE), the HE Academy has launched a series of Student Employability Profiles for all degree programmes, which will help academic staff, employers and students to understand better the skills developed through the study of a particular subject.

Two complementary guides have been published, one intended for academic and support staff, published by the Academy, entitled Student Employability Profiles, and the other for employers' use. All the Academy's Subject Centres have contributed to the guides. For each of 52 academic subjects a summary of what is taught and the skills that students are likely to have developed are given. The History, Classics and Archaeology Profiles can be downloaded from the Higher Education Academy.
