Call for Papers - Film Induced Tourism

The Worldwise Hospitality and Tourism Themes (WHATT) journal is inviting submissions for a special issue on Film Induced Tourism.

The strategic question of this journal will be …How can the film induced tourism phenomenon be sustainably managed?  With this in mind, the co-editors are inviting expressions of interest in the following areas:

  • Does film induced tourism offer a sustainable solution to tourism destinations?
  • How does film induced tourism contribute to host national economies?
  • What are the impacts of to film induced tourism and how can they be minimised / maximised upon?
  • How can film induced tourism be used to maximize the benefits for tourism destinations?
  • What are the contemporary issues for the film induced tourism stakeholders?
  • How should stakeholders respond to the challenges it faces and find solutions to preserve and develop its film tourism concept?
