The Hospitality, Leisure, Sport & Tourism Network aims to encourage and broker the sharing of good learning and teaching practice across our subject areas of UK higher education.

Entries are now open for the Institute of Travel & Tourism Annual Student Awards.
The awards will be presented at the House of Commons in July. There are four catagories:
Bella Rangel Callan ITT Student the Year Award
The ITT Student of the Year award will be presented to one outstanding individual, nominated by their lecturer in recognition of their achievements whilst studying travel and tourism. This award is open ITT member colleges and universities.
ITT PhD Student of the Year
This award is to celebrate the work of outstanding PhD students. You do not need to be near completion or an ITT member (though we hope you will join). In the past, it has been won by students who have undertaken a variety of projects, not all of which have been directly business related.
ITT University Centre of Excellence: Student of the Year Award
Each ITT Centre of Excellence is invited to nominate their choice for their University Student of the Year Award.
GTTP UK Research Competition
Open to secondary schools teaching travel and tourism, this global competition is designed to encourage research and analytical skills. The teacher and two students from the winning UK school will receive a trip to Munich where the students will present their findings to winners from ten other countries.
Details of how to enter can be found at the above links.
