New JISC Grant Funding: Flexible Service Delivery Programme

JISC is inviting institutions to submit proposals to undertake work in four areas of innovation:

  • A. Shared Service and Cloud Computing Pilots – up to 10 months duration between £50,000 and £150,000 available per project
  • B. Business Process and ICT Change Projects – up to 10 months duration between £40,000 and £100,000 available per project
  • C. Modularisation Proof of Concept Projects – up to 10 months duration up to £200,000 available per project
  • D. Technical Rapid Innovation Projects – up to 6 months duration between £15,000 and £40,000 available per project.

Total funding available under this call is £1.4 million and JISC will seek to fund the most appropriate balance of portfolio of projects to meet the overall objectives of the programme.  Funding is available for projects starting as soon as possible, but no later than 12 July 2010 for a maximum of 10 months.  All projects must be complete by 31 May 2011.

The deadline for receipt of proposals in response to this call is 12:00 noon UK time on Wednesday 19 May 2010.
