New Research Studentships in Tourism, Hospitality and Events

Manchester Metropolitan University is offering new studentships at its Tourism Hospitality and Events Research Centre.

The centre invites applications for PhD study in areas such as:

  • Ethnicity and culture
  • Tourist experience
  • Events experience
  • Destinations and place
  • Volunteers: events and tourism
  • Arts festivals and event
  • Sustainable development and the tourism, hospitality & events industries
  • Academic tourism/Educational travel
  • Loyalty and consumer behaviour in service industries

The studentships are due to commence in September 2010. Successful applicants will receive a subsistence bursary of £12000 pa and home tuition fees to the value of £3500 pa. The studentships are mainly full-time and only available to Home and EU countries.
