Continuing Professional Development Bursaries

The Prime Minister's Initiative (PMI2) have announced the creation of three continuing professional development bursaries funded by PMI2 through UKCISA and delivered by University of Northampton.

The bursaries are available to academic and support staff working with international students in further and higher education institutions to participate in the Postgraduate Certificate in Enhancing the International Student Experience.

The bursaries are valued at £1,000 and reduce the cost of the course to £800.

Applicants should complete the Online Application Form and provide 1000 words detailing:

  • a description of your current activities involving international students,
  • an outline of your intentions for further personal development,
  • and an indication of how you will seek to disseminate your learning within your institution or sector.

Applications must be received by 30 November 2009.
