Description

We are developing a benchmarking service that is intended to help departments and course leaders evaluate their practice against that of others.

In order to collect and provide up-to-date information on current practice in learning, teaching and assessment within our subject areas, we are developing a benchmarking service that is intended to help departments and course leaders evaluate their practice against that of others.

 

Assessment
Assessment was chosen as the topic on which to focus the second round of the practice benchmarking project. This information is designed to help course teams and managers in considering their own assessment practice in relation to more general practice within HLST courses.

The full results of the survey, which involved almost 50 departments teaching hospitality, leisure, sport and tourism are now available, link to the PDF (62 KB) is below.

A Network Focus article on Assessment Practice in Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism was published in LINK 14, on page 29. Link to the PDF is below.

 

Dissertations
Dissertations were selected as the first area on which to focus and results/discussion can be found below.
