It is vital that students are given the opportunity to explore relevant ethical considerations in their subjects of study in hospitality, leisure, sport and tourism, and they should also consider the ethics of their research design as part of their research dissertations and projects.

The HLST website has an extensive Resource Guide on the Philosophy and Ethics of Sport and a resource guide on Exploring Ethics.

Based on the experience of teaching medical ethics at the University of Leeds, the Inter-Disciplinary Ethics Applied (IDEA) Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is working to support the integration of ethics into a range of disciplines at the university and beyond. Their site provides an extensive range of resources and events concerning ethics both in academia and in professional practice.

A Social Science Research Ethics website, developed through an ESRC funded Research Development Initiative, on training researchers in ethics and ethical practice provides a range of resources on research ethics.

The Association of Business Schools (ABS), The Advanced Institute of Management (AIM), The British Academy of Management (BAM) and the Business, Management Accountancy and Finance (BMAF) subject centre have published a draft ethics guide. It is intended that this will be used by business school staff, students and alumni engaged in research, enterprise, administration and learning.

The Teaching International Students Project is a joint initiative of the Higher Education Academy and the United Kingdom Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) with funding from the Prime Minister's Initiative 2. It is a two-year project, hosted and co-funded by the Higher Education Academy.
