HEA announces seminar series dates

The Higher Education Academy has today announced the dates of two seminar series in the thematic areas of assessment and feedback and retention and success which will share institutions' learning on these important issues in higher education.
Each seminar will be hosted and delivered by an HE institution and will focus on the learning and teaching aspects of the themes.
The assessment and feedback series will run from 6 February to 26 July 2012 and will include twenty seminars ranging from ‘Innovations in assessment: the student learning experience' to ‘Assessment and feedback in the digital age.'
The series on retention and success will take place between 22 February and 16 July 2012. There are thirteen seminars in this series including ‘Minding the gap: Ethnic and socio-economic differences in HE attainment and experiences' and ‘Mature... but experienced? Ways to support the retention and success of mature students.'
These series are part of the HEA's wider workshop/seminar series for universities and HE institutions on their thematic disciplines.
