Our Professional Recognition Scheme has been developed to support our aim of raising the status of teaching in higher education.
The Scheme provides individuals with the opportunity to gain recognition as an:
- Associate
- Fellow
- Senior Fellow
It is referenced to the UK Professional Standards Framework (PDF 166KB).
Recognition is a portable asset, with UK-wide relevance. It is increasingly valued by higher and further education institutions.

- Facilitated participation in professional networks including the discipline based networks of the Subject Centres
Recognition gives you a professional identity, and the entitlement to post-nominal letters (DOC 32KB).
