The Employability and Employee Learning area of the site is currently under construction
The Employability and Employee Learning (EEL) team aims to influence and enhance the student learning experience by facilitating and brokering networks of projects, institutions, individual academics and subject centres in the areas of employability, employer engagement and employee learning.
The team work with several groups which have a focus on employer engagement. As such, they take a lead in driving forward and capturing innovative ideas, good practice materials and resources for use by institutions and practitioners to improve the student experience of work based learning in Higher Education.
A key focus of the programme of work is to facilitate the evaluation and dissemination of pedagogical approaches and methodology associated with quality and standards in workforce development and work based learning, presently supporting eight QA demonstrator projects which focus on various aspects of HE workforce development provision.
Building on the extensive Academy work developed to support individual practitioners and institutions developing student employability skills and enhancing graduate outcomes, the team work with individuals, institutions and subject centres to disseminate good practice and developments in teaching, learning and support services in this field.
