The 2005 HEFCE (Higher Education Funding Council for England) e-learning Strategy and the HEFCW (Higher Education Funding Council for Wales) Enhancement of Learning Strategy emphasised a shift towards using technology to enhance core activities, e.g. assessment.
To support these strategies and the student learning experience, the Academy has developed an Enhancement of Learning through Technology (ELT) programme with a range of generic and discipline-based resources and activities.
Our current role is to promote, support and facilitate educational communities to engage with one another to share knowledge and expertise.

- Welsh enhancement programme (Gwella)
