Ruth Mewis

Ruth is an Academic Coordinator. She is a chemist and has recently completed a PhD in chemometrics in the Chemistry Department at the University of Hull.

As Academic Coordinator, Ruth provides support for the Centre's activities. She is the main contact for our network of Departmental Representatives and is convenor of the Maths for Chemistry Special Interest Group. She also produces a monthly e-bulletin.

Tracey Madden

Tracey is a Project Officer responsible for the open educational resources (OER) Skills For Scientists project, producing the Centre journal, New Directions, and maintaining the website. She was previous responsible for the two Centre e-portfolio projects. She is a former teacher, a physicist and author of distance and on-line learning materials. Last year she became a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
