Enquiry and problem-based learning approaches to teaching and learning are becoming increasingly popular across HE. There have been several successful implementations in the physical sciences. The barriers to implementation may be generic or subject specific. The focus of this workshop will be to explore and develop strategies to tackle some of those barriers. Participants at the workshop will have the opportunity to hear sound advice from experienced practitioners within physical sciences, to discuss issues that are relevant to their own context and to gain an sight into how e/pbl can be implemented successfully.
