Description

The Higher Education Academy has just launched the 2010-11 Travel Fund to help staff and students in Scottish HEIs attend Higher Education Academy (including Subject Centre) events elsewhere in the UK. 

This is the third year funding of this kind has been offered, with the aim of encouraging the exchange and dissemination of good practices, at the discipline level, throughout the UK.  So far, the HEA have awarded almost 70 bursaries to staff and students from 17 HEIs.

Applications will be accepted throughout the academic year (there are no deadlines for applications) and bursaries of up to £200 will be awarded .
